The comfort of sleeping just got a raise. An Orthex Sophia 4 Multi-Positions Adjustable Bed can make all the difference in a better night’s sleep. Health professionals in Canada made this unique posture bed with uniqueness in mind to aid in pain, digestion, breathing and blood circulation for sleepers.
This base can be lowered to 10″ (plus mattress thickness) from the floor or raised up to 30″ (plus mattress thickness). This makes for the ideal hospital bed for your home. Select from multiple positions, activate the massage and raise and lower the bed using the wired remote control.
Trendelenburg Position: A position where the patient lies flat on the back, with the feet 13 degrees higher than the head. This allows gravity to help pull the intra-abdominal organs away from the pelvis, allowing doctors, nurses or caregivers clear access to the pelvic and abdomen areas.
Reverse Trendelenburg Position: This position has the head higher than the feet. Alternating between Reverse Trendelenburg and Trendelenburg positions can help improve blood pressure and low cardiac output.

Base: Orthex Canada Inc. warrants the electronic components of your SOPHIA 4 base for a period of three years and its structure, for life, from the date of purchase, against any manufacturing or material defect.
